Everything you need to know about One Million Goals

If you have any concerns please read this collection of frequently asked questions before contacting us. If you are still unclear about something feel free to contact us.

Can I donate more than €20 (equals 1 child)?

Via our DONATE button on the website, there is a payment method that only gives you the possibility to pay for 1 child (€20). If you wish to donate for more children, every single time a payment needs to be done. This is because of the unique number. If you wish to donate for a larger amount of children, and don’t feel happy about the single payments. Please contact us via donate@onemilliongoals.org

Where is the €20 based on?

For this amount we are able to send you this cool wristband with an unique number, organize the event where ‘your’ child gets to score that goal and create a memory. Yes, this child gets to keep the ball, and we send you the awesome movie from this experience. Furthermore, we need some amount to run our non-profit organisation! You could check our annual report when it’s published.

Can I register my child to be part of this?

We randomly run our events and let children be part of this dream. It is quite a huge operation to run this with children that are being signed in. Unless… If you are really want to, and you are able to facilitate (in either money, or to organise your own event) that we could reach a larger group of children.. Than we would love to get in contact with you! info@onemilliongoals.org

When do I receive my wristband and/or movie?

We send you an unique wristband according to the registered number that you receive by mail, within a few days (really depending on your address in this world!).
We send the wristband from The Netherlands and will be there within a maximum of two weeks.
As soon as ‘your’ child gets to create its memory (this depends on when your number is up for its event, with a maximum of 1 month, you will receive the video within a week.)

I haven’t received anything yet. What do I do?

Hmm.. something must be wrong here.

Haven’t received an e-mail after your donation? Send us an e-mail to info@onemilliongoals.org

Haven’t received your wristband? Please wait for a maximum of 2 weeks after your donation. After this period, please send us an e-mail to info@onemilliongoals.org with your unique number in it.

Haven’t received the video? Please wait until a maximum of 5 weeks after your donation. After this period, please send us an e-mail to info@onemilliongoals.org with your unique number.

Why do you need my address?

Because we would love to send you the awesome wristband! We delete you address after 1 month.

Can I work for you?

We haven’t got any vacancies really, but.. We would love you to cooperate during an event. Check our upcoming events and see if there is any in your neighbourhood, or in a place you would like to help. You could help us to create these memories and contribute on our goal. Please check our ambassadors section.

Can I visit an event?

If it is not an official game organized by clubs, you can visit the events listed in the agenda for free. If it is an official game organized by clubs, you will have to pay the entry fee.

Can I get in contact with the child I have sponsored

If the child has given our organization it’s (email) address and is willing to share that with others, that is a possibility.

I want to sponsor more than one child, can I get a discount?

Unfortunately not because our budget is tight and we really need € 20 to be able to run the events and our organisation.

How and where can I donate €20?

You can donate €20 (or more) by clicking on the ‘Donate’ button at the top section of our website. From here you will be guided through a secured progress to make a payment by one of our payment options like Paypal, Ideal, American Express or Creditcard.

Is my donation deductible for my personal income taxation?

That is depending on the tax system of your country. Therefore, we refer to the tax legislation of your country.

Which ways of payment do you accept?

There is a wide selection of payment methods like VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, Sofort, GIROpay, Bancontact MRCash and Ideal that offers payment by several banks.

How long will it take to reach goal number 1.000.000?

We do not have the objective to get goal number 1.000.000 scored within a certain period of time. The more people sponsor a goal, how faster we will reach goal number 1.000.000 and we can celebrate this with all goals scorers and donors around the world.

Who are the people behind this organisation?

Three former Master students in International Sports Management students at the Cruyff Institute (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) set up the Foundation Onemilliongoals during their study. For more information about the founders and their personal stories, we refer to the our team section on this website.

Where is Onemilliongoals based? Can I visit your office?

We have an office in the The Hague area in The Netherlands. From here, we organise and facilitate the Onemilliongoals events. Unfortunately it is not possible to visit our office, because it is too small to have people around. However, we are looking forward to meet you at one of the events we organise. For an overview of the events, we refer to the events section on our website.
